What can I expect at a Virtual Open House?
Community members join for a Zoom discussion from 12-12:30pm on Saturday, November 6th to ask questions, see the Upper West Side NYC studio space, and meet vocal instructor Alexandra Rashkin. This is a great time to discuss general questions about what to expect in a vocal coaching and to get to know a bit about each other.
Complimentary 30 minute voice lessons are available for sign up via our Events page between 12:30-4pm. If any of these times do not work for your schedule but you are still interested, please indicate this option on the form and we will find another time to meet.
What will our first complimentary 30 minute private voice lesson be like over Zoom?
This time is about sharing your background, interests and goals for your voice, singing and performance. We can discuss any projects or auditions you may have underway, or your dreams for future singing. Feel free to bring a song that you love to sing, or if you’re new to the craft, we can explore a path for learning some of your favorites. We will also use this time to go through some warm ups together, so that you leave with new tools for practicing on your own.
If I enjoy our 30 minute voice lesson, how can I sign up for further lessons?
If you benefit from our time and enjoy our first lesson, please reach out through the form on Vocal Center’s Lessons page (click here). If you don’t see a rate that works for you on the lessons page, please don’t let that stop you from reaching out. Lessons can be offered on a sliding scale, and we can find a rate that works for your budget. The most important thing is you getting the support and tools you need to achieve your dreams, and together we will make a plan for that to be possible for you.
How do I sign up for the Virtual Open House & Complimentary Voice Lesson?
You can sign up through the form here on our events page! You will receive a confirmation email shortly after with the Zoom Link for the Open House. This will come directly from alexandra@vocalcenter.org. Feel free to ask any initial questions via email.
